Lets think through Maths…Hungry Crocodiles

Yet another fun Lets think maths lesson today Year 4! This time we were exploring angles by looking at the jaws of hungry crocodiles and different scissors. We sorted the pictures by the angles they were showing. We worked really well in partners and small groups!

What a hungry crocodile!

Can you remember the 3 types of angle? Did you enjoy this lesson? Why? What did you discover today?

Cute Angle, rectangle, I like the cute angle because it’s cute like me.
If it’s mouth is open small we know the crocodile is not hungry, if it’s big it means its very very hungry. If it’s mouth is open medium it’s a medium hungry.

    Hello Year 4!

I love that you’re learning about the hungry crocodile in maths. Has the crocodile been eating all the big numbers??
